Configuration of a smart watch for children and teenagers - iSmartwatch
Setting up the SeTracker2 app for your child's smartwatch
1. Preparing the SIM card (not supplied with our watches)
Before you start, it is crucial to have a SIM card with an active internet plan, ideally between 100 MB and 1 GB, to ensure daily use of the watch. Many operators offer low-cost plans without commitment, which is perfect for this type of device. For example, PRIXTEL offers an independent paid plan (not included with our watches) 100% compatible with our smartwatches for children.

Paid package and not included with our watches (check rates and conditions with the operator of your choice)
Note: Smartwatches are low data users, but if the geolocation feature is enabled, the data may run out quickly, especially with a 50MB plan. It is therefore recommended to opt for a plan with a higher data volume or to reduce the frequency of location updates.
2. Insert the SIM card into the watch
- Step 1: Insert the SIM card into a phone to disable the 🔒 PIN code request . You will find this option in your phone's settings.
- Step 2: Once the PIN code is disabled 🔓, insert the SIM card into the watch in the correct direction until it is securely clicked into place.
- Step 3: Turn on the watch and check that it has network reception.
3. Download the SeTracker2 app
- Step 1: Download the SeTracker2 app from
- Step 2: Open the app and create an account by clicking on “Register”. Enter your email address and create a secure password.
4. Pair the watch with the app
You can pair your watch with the app in three ways:
- Scan the QR code: Find the QR code on the back of the watch or on the label provided.
- Scan via watch menu: Go to the watch menu and select “Reg Code” to get the QR code.
- Enter the code manually: If the previous methods fail, enter the registration code (Reg Code) manually. Make sure not to enter the IMEI at this step.
Step 5: Once the QR code is scanned or the code is entered, enter your child's nickname, select your relationship, and finally the watch's phone number.
5. Administrator Configuration
- Only one primary administrator is designated for each watch. The user who first linked the watch automatically becomes the default administrator.
- You can add other secondary administrators. To do this, these contacts will also need to create an account on the SeTracker app and synchronize the watch on their app. The primary administrator will receive a notification to validate this request.
6. Operation check
- Once the watch is synced with the app, check that everything is working properly.
7. Connection problems
If you encounter an error message like "Device is not networked" or "Request failed, cellular signal is too weak", here are some things to check:
- Make sure the watch is turned on and the SIM card is inserted correctly.
- Check that the network is displayed on the watch.
Troubleshooting Network Issues:
- Check that the SIM card is unlocked and activated.
- Make sure the SIM card is inserted correctly and held in place. Use the tool provided for this.
- Restart the watch after inserting the SIM card. Wait one minute before turning it back on.
